This venture, in partnership with Singularity University, will further our mission of empowering the next generation of technology pioneers. Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, this new space will offer advanced facilities, coworking spaces, and opportunities for entrepreneurs, startups, and industry leaders to collaborate on projects in robotics, AI, and emerging technologies. This partnership with Singularity University will bring unique educational and networking opportunities, combining Circuit Launch's expertise in hardware innovation with Singularity's forward-thinking approach to technology's future. This project wouldn’t be possible without the support of our investors, including Arthur Porto, and our workforce training partner, Marcus Kurle (an SU alumnus). Grant / Prize/ Competition We recently advanced to Phase 2 of DARPA’s Tools Competition: Building an Adaptive and Competitive Workforce. This competition is for ed-tech innovation, encouraging the use of digital technology & data to address the urgent educational needs of adult learners. A research partner is required, to help develop and utilize instrumentation of our platform so our data can advance the field of Learning Engineering. Phase II proposals are due April 22nd The mechlabs program: We adopt a new approach to Learning Engineering by integrating hands-on project-based and peer-to-peer learning with advanced AI-driven personalization and feedback mechanisms. Our "build-it to learn-it" approach requires tackling real-world engineering challenges in a cohort of other learners. This method not only equips individuals with essential technical skills but also fosters critical thinking, problem-solving, soft skills, and the ability to learn how to learn. Data for Learning Engineering: The data collected by our platform encompasses user interactions, project progress, feedback cycles, and learning outcomes. This includes detailed tracking of skill development, engagement metrics, and the effectiveness of personalized learning pathways. Designed for continuous improvement, the AI system analyzes this data to refine and adapt learning strategies for each individual, enhancing the educational experience over time. We hope a research partner can help leverage & advance this dataset to gain insights into adult learning processes, particularly in the context of hands-on, peer to peer, project-based education. The data could reveal patterns in skill acquisition, the impact of personalized learning paths, motivation, and the efficacy of AI-driven mentorship and feedback, contributing valuable knowledge to the field of Learning Engineering.
