As part of ALS Awareness Day, many of Sunday’s pregame ceremonies honored those who champion for this cause. There was a Moment of Remembrance in honor of Adam Wilson, the courageous ALS fighter and driving force behind Major League Baseball’s institution of a league-wide Lou Gehrig’s Day. We also celebrated Hunter Greene as the Reds’ nominee for the Lou Gehrig Award. Hunter created a scholarship for a member of a local family affected by ALS. This year’s recipient is Chloe Telgkamp from Mariemont.
