September is National Recovery Month, and its signature color is purple. Choptank Electric Employees recognized National Recovery Month by wearing purple to the office today.

Earlier this year, we attended a Career Day in Cambridge to teach students about all that we do here at Choptank Electric. Our employees enjoy going to these events and hope to get the younger generation interested and involved! #ConcernforCommunity #7CooperativePrinciples

Thank you Fiber Forward for the story! We are proud to provide our members with fiber and community service along the Chesapeake Bay.

At the end of August, Choptank Electric Cooperative along with other co-ops and utilities assisted Northern Virginia Electric Cooperative with a large outage that caused around 6,000 members to be without power. While there, Choptank employees Tyler Williamson, Dean Samuel, Josh McCafferty, Mason Johnson, Todd Anderson, Cole Herr, Matthew Taylor, Tyler Blackiston, Camden Stinson, Brody Bennett, Paul Miles and Hunter Rodgers helped NOVEC change poles and pull wire up. Great job everyone and way to demonstrate the 6th Cooperative Principle, #CooperationAmongCooperatives!
