📢 Exciting Announcement from CHC! 📢 We are thrilled to share that low-income families and youth in Santa Clara County District Five who receive mental health services through CHC will soon get a boost of support! Thanks to a 2024-25 budget initiative championed by County Supervisor Joe Simitian, CHC will use grant funding to address food insecurity and other basic needs. 🌟 “It’s hard enough for young people to reach out for mental health services and support when they need it,” said Simitian. “But when folks don’t have access to reliable transportation to get to their provider, or need to prioritize finding food or shelter to survive over going to their appointments, that only makes it harder to get them the help they deserve. I expect these funds will help provide folks with some additional stability as they get support through CHC.” This initiative will help our clients focus on their treatment goals without the added stress of meeting their basic needs. Now entering zero gravity! 🚀 - Our Esther B. Clark Schools are combining fun with a little science this summer! In an earlier class project, students learned the different gravitational pulls of various planets in our solar system. After calculating how far they were able to jump on Earth, they measured how far they’d be able to jump on other planets! 🌎 #EstherBClarkSchools
