    💡 We are introducing 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗲 𝟬𝟰 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 (𝗖𝗖𝗨𝗦) Funded projects are expected to have a significant contribution to the green transition and lead to significant CO2 emission reduction by 2030 and pave way for net zero CO2 emissions from 2050 and onwards.     📌 Project Spotlight: CTS 🌐 https://lnkd.in/d83vATDW 🚢 CTS project will evaluate the global potential of direct injection from ship for facilitating permanent CO2 storage using case studies from offshore on the Norwegian Continental Shelf, Baltics, Black Sea and Atlantic coast of Portugal. 🎯 One of the goals is to advance direct ship injection technology further together with NEMO Maritime – the industrial partner developing one of such solutions. 🔎 CTS aims at improving cost and efficiency along the value chain; developing new markets by better addressing the need of smaller emitters; increasing LCA and TEA knowledge for the value chains in selected areas. 👉 By utilizing offshore storage and building trustful communication with stakeholders in selected geographical locations, CTS also aims to contribute to strengthening the acceptance of CCUS technologies #ProjectSpotlight #CTS #SustainableFuture #DirectInjection #CO2

    📌 Project Spotlight: ACLOUD 🌐 https://lnkd.in/dTyYjayj 🌬 The high cost of CO2 capture is an important barrier to a wider application of Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage. 👉 ACLOUD project will develop and demonstrate a technology that can increase capture rate, reduce energy penalty, and improve cost-efficiency of CO2 capture. 🔄 The technology is Chemical-Looping Combustion (CLC).     📌 Project Spotlight: UNICORN 🌐 https://lnkd.in/daYBQyBE 👉 A major outcome of the UNICORN project will be a step-wise change in the development of proton exchange membrane water electrolyser (PEMWE) stacks with the potential to disrupt the current electrolyser landscape that relies exclusively on perfluorinated membranes, platinum-coated titanium bipolar plates, and high loadings of iridium catalyst. 💸 These materials result in large capital expenditure costs and, ultimately, a prohibitively expensive cost of green hydrogen. 📈 The unique operating design of HYSTAR's PEMWE stacks coupled with the reduced cost and increased sustainability aspects of hydrocarbon membranes and reduced iridium loadings will provide increased rates of hydrogen production at a significantly reduced cost. 💨 These innovations will contribute directly to the increased adoption of green hydrogen technologies, helping Europe reach its emissions reduction targets. #ProjectSpotlight #UNICORN #SustainableFuture #Electrolysis  #greenhydrogen
