Sessions focused on AmeriCorps Program Management, Volunteer and Member Engagement, and best practices to maximize impact. Advocating for Community Health! 🏥 Our CEO and CMO-Interim COO recently took our commitment to community health to Washington DC, meeting with representatives and advocating for the vital role of community health centers. #LCH - ¡Abogando por la salud de la comunidad! 🏥 Recientemente, nuestra Directora Ejecutiva y el Director Médico e Interino de Operaciones llevaron a Washington DC nuestro compromiso con la salud, reuniendose con representantes y abogando por el papel vital de los centros de salud comunitarios.

This was a fun conversation with the Central Valley Health Network discussing Healthcare access concerns in the Central Valley and beyond. At UC Merced's student career center, we use the podcast series through a prescription model (not subscription) for students interested in hearing advice on particular industry sectors. Today was spent visiting Sacramento for California Primary Care Association ‘s #DayattheCapitol. We spent the day visiting offices of our elected officials Asm.Esmeralda Soria, Esq., Asm. Jim Patterson, Sen. Anna Caballero, and Sen. Shannon Grove to share our support for #AB2303 which will help #CHC’s have a mechanism to increase wages for healthcare workers, #SB1382 to help make it easier for CHC’s to expand services by reducing unnecessary and outdated building requirements, and #SB1067 which will expedite licensing applications for healthcare professionals seeking to work in medically underserved areas. A special thank you to Central Valley Health Network Mary Renner for helping to coordinate todays visits, Francisco J.
