#GovernorJimPillen of the GREAT State of Nebraska has proclaimed Sunday August 25th thru Saturday August 31st, 2024 as Nebraska Drug Overdose Awareness Week! This significant event demonstrates the importance of raising awareness about the opioid crisis, and to support those directly affected by overdose in Nebraska's communities. The Governor was joined by Wellbeing Initiative, Inc's own Danielle Smith, Sadie Thompson, and #SamanthaBenda, as well as representatives from community partners CenterPointe, the Nebraska Pharmacists Association, and #StopOverdoseNebraska. This week's WellBeing Concert featuring The Bottle Tops and Mary Ellen's has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 25th at 6:30pm! Our next concert will continue as scheduled on Wednesday, September 11th at 6:30pm with a performance by The Usual Suspects and food from Porkccentric. We hope to see you there!

It has been one year since the start of the CenterPointe and Lincoln Police Department Alternate Response Program! In the past year, 1,000 calls have been redirected from LPD to the CenterPointe street outreach team. We are incredibly grateful for this wonderful partnership!
