EV charging stations can help retailers pull in customers who will spend time and money at their location. But businesses need data to determine which sites will bring the best returns. That's why Transportation Energy Institute and CSE have launched the Charging Analytics Program (CAP). CAP subscribers in the U.S. and Canada will get insights on when, where and how EV chargers are being used based on the latest aggregated data. Reports and interactive maps will help site hosts fine-tune their strategy for successfully entering the EV charging market. CAP informs policy and site host decisions by: · Logging more than 2 million charging events each month. · Identifying when and where to invest in EV charging. · Analyzing the economic value of the EV charging customer. Congratulations to the City of Calipatria and Comite Civico Del Valle, Inc. on the installation of new EV fast chargers in the Imperial Valley. CCV is the first community-based organization to meet all the requirements of the state’s CALeVIP Golden State Priority Project to help fund EV infrastructure. The project is administered by Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE). CCV Executive Director Luis Olmedo: “We are committed to making sure that rural and underserved communities are not left behind in the transition to electric vehicles.” California Energy Commission's Patricia Monahan: “Our hope is that greater access to EV chargers like these will encourage more EV adoption in the Valley, saving drivers money on fuel and maintenance costs while helping clean the air.”
🌟 A Major Milestone for Calipatria and Imperial Valley! 🌟 We are proud to celebrate the new EV fast chargers at Sun Community Federal Credit Union’s Calipatria Branch, marking a significant step towards environmental justice and sustainable transportation! 🚗🔋 Special thanks to Sun Community Federal Credit Union and all our partners for making this possible. Educating consumers about electric vehicles starts with dealerships. Read more on how the ElectrifiQ program will help one Florida dealership's sales staff to confidently answer consumer questions about EVs and help consumers navigate the ever-evolving landscape of EVs.
Dealers have always been committed to selling the vehicles consumers want and that comes with being experts of the models in their showrooms and that come through the service bay: https://bit.ly/3VmnalQ

Drivers considering going electric have questions for their dealership sales staff. But a study found less than half of dealerships feel well-prepared to sell EVs. That's why the new ElectrifIQ sales certification program is so important. Launched by the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) and the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE), ElectrifIQ is designed to boost dealerships' knowledge of EVs and EV charging. The cost of ElectrifIQ is $495 to train an entire dealership sales team and includes a two-year EV sales certification. However, the first 500 California NADA member dealerships to apply will get the training fee waived! Learn more: https://lnkd.in/dyvXfxH2 ⚡🚗 #EV
