Last weekend, Kernels players and coaches served the local Cedar Rapids community as part of the Twins Week of Service initiative. Player volunteers packed and sorted food at HACAP for those in need and collected food donations from the Downtown CR Farmers Market for Homerun for Hunger. Thank you to all of our players, coaches, HACAP, the Homerun for Hunger team, and those who donated.

TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW! Spend Father's Day at the ballpark this year! The Kernels are hosting a Father's Day Brunch at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Sunday, June 16th, from 10AM to 1 PM. This is the best way to treat the father figures in your life to a Party at the Park! We will be serving a large brunch menu, having catch in the outfield, and inflatables for the kids. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for kids 10 and younger. The Kernels are sad to announce that this week will be the last week of games for Jessica Fergesen, our Senior Director of Business Development. Jessica has taken another opportunity, but she is excited to spend her last week with Kernels fans at our upcoming games. The Kernels are grateful for Jessica's impact on our organization over the last 21 years and we will miss her. Thank you for everything, Jessica! We invite all of you to come say goodbye to her this homestand from May 14th to May 19th. Jessica will also be throwing out the first pitch on Sunday, May 19th.
