Does your hotel offer unique amenities or activities that photos alone can’t capture? That’s where video shines. Our team recently visited Sacramento to create some social media content around a new state-of-the-art virtual golf simulator for one of our partners.

Casual Fridays celebrated its 15th anniversary last week! It's been an incredibly blessed decade and a half, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to do what I do. Thank you to all past and present clients, contractors, and, most importantly, employees. Without you, this wouldn't have been possible. Reflecting on the past 15 years, I feel humbled, grateful, and proud of all we have accomplished. Here are a few photos from the early years of the agency. The first photo is of me in January 2009, when I came up with the plan to start Casual Fridays. In this photo, I was on my honeymoon in Tahiti. I had recently been laid off from my position at Clear Channel, now iHeartMedia, and was trying to figure out what was next for me. A Social Media Agency was one of three "ideas" I came up with on that trip. The second photo I'm sharing is from a photoshoot Stephanie and I took at the Del Mar Fair, now called the San Diego County Fair, in June of 2009. During this photoshoot, I received an email from Casual Fridays' first-ever client with a signed agreement to support them with social media marketing services. That contract began on June 15th.

Your hotel's restaurant shouldn't be an afterthought. The passion, ideation, and flavors that go into each dish and cocktail should be reflected on your social media channels with captions and visuals to match. Whether your social media strategy already includes F&B initiatives or you're looking to get started, one thing is for sure in 2024: fresh content is the key to driving both locals and potential guests through the door.
