From part-time team member to region director and every position in between, there are endless opportunities for a career in #retail at Casey’s. For more than 12 years, Wesley Smith has grown and evolved as a professional at Casey’s. Here’s his story: “As I've progressed through various roles at Casey’s, I've intentionally invested in my own growth, aiming to enhance my influence and value within the organization. I first started at Casey’s as a part-time team member, mostly making donuts, before moving to a shift leader position. I then had the opportunity to become the store manager of a brand-new store. From there, I took on a field trainer position, traveling through the division, training team members, store managers and district managers. In my current role as region director, I’m focused on the development of my district manager team, coaching the why, and strategizing big-picture opportunities. I have helped drive the growth of a new market, supporting my team through the opening of more than 40 new stores. My goal is to experience continuous improvement at all levels – stores, districts, the region and the organization as a whole.” Ready for a career at Casey’s? Watching them grow their skills and take on new challenges – sometimes with positions on the Store Integration team, Learning & Development team, or another team at our Store Support Center or across the field – drives me to be the best version of myself each day.      Before being promoted to region director, I was a district manager and a store manager. With half of our stores in towns of 5,000 people or less – Casey’s is here for state fair fun! And, for the past several years, Casey's team members have volunteered their time at the Iowa State Fair's Little Hands on the Farm exhibit, where kids can learn about agriculture while having fun. Fifty-five team members and their families spent last Friday helping kids experience what it’s like to be a farmer. The annual ag adventure takes kids on a journey through stations like a swine barn, grain bin, tractor shed and dairy barn. 🌽 Shout out to our team for making a difference in the community. #CaseysCARES
