🌍 "How do we scale enhanced rock weathering in the most trustworthy way possible? It's easy to spread rock on a field, but how do you turn that spread rock into verified credits that can be credibly sold on the market? The answer is through incredible amounts of auditable data and data infrastructure that integrates with the science being conducted." - Ryan King, Chief Commercial Officer at UNDO. Our CCO, Ryan King, recently joined industry leaders to discuss the intersections of digital infrastructure and carbon removal, hosted by the Carbon Business Council and Climate Collective. 💡 Key insights: - Revolutionising industrial sectors through digital infrastructure - Scaling climate finance and decarbonising societies - Building market mechanisms for biodiversity, climate adaptation and the energy transition - Latest trends in the rapidly growing carbon dioxide removal (CDR) field Meet the panel: Anna Lerner Nesbitt, CEO at Climate Collective Mars Garza, Co-Founder at Alcove Onur Eren, CEO and Co-Founder at Covalent Ryan King, Chief Commercial Officer at UNDO Isabella Corpora Director at Carbon Business Council (Moderator) 📽️ Dive into the full recording here: https://lnkd.in/e3BbHiJs #CarbonRemoval #DigitalInfrastructure #ClimateTech #ERW #ClimateAction #UNDOCarbon #ERW #EnhancedRockWeathering #CDR #ClimateWebinar

📣 CO2BC member Isometric released a new protocol for carbon removal via Electrolytic Seawater Mineralization (ESM). The protocol details how to monitor, report and verify (MRV) ESM carbon removal. Erika La Plante, co-founder and Head of MRV and Environmental Impact Assessment at Equatic.tech, said of the protocol: “The ocean is the world’s largest natural carbon remover and seawater electrolysis is an invaluable tool that can accelerate and amplify its inherent carbon removal processes. This protocol will help ensure that seawater electrolysis is employed effectively, safely and reliably." The protocol has now entered public consultation, and feedback is welcome from buyers, suppliers, and scientists. https://lnkd.in/epuhMg3z #ClimateTech #CarbonRemoval
