Do recruiters actually care about a candidate's experience? We dug into the data to find out For some background - with candidate.fyi, candidates have the ability to rate each stage of their interview process We wanted to find the average score of just the stages where the candidate was meeting with a recruiter. This wasn't so easy - we had to do a bit of normalization since these interviews can have different names, but we were able to make it work The result? Recruiter screens had an average score of 4.66 The overall average? 4.53 What does this tell us? On average, candidates have a better experience speaking with recruiters than the average interview Question answered - recruiters definitely seem to care!

For certain types of interviews, there can be a whole group of potential interviewers Whether this is a certain technical screen or even something like a culture interview The problem? Maintaining this group of interviewers is tricky You need to keep track of: - Who is in it - What each interviewer's scheduling preferences are (times of day, days of week, max number of interviews they want to do) - How many interviews they’re doing to effectively balance the load Then let's not forget taking this all into account to see who is available at the point of scheduling With our Interviewer Pools feature, this is all taken care of Simply tag different interviewers together Then just include that tag as the interviewer for your interview Everything else is taken care of. We will automatically: - Take into account interviewers’ preferences - Look through all interviewers’ availability - Load balance to ensure the load is being evenly distributed Simple & easy!
