Boy Meets World star Danielle Fishel announced she has been diagnosed with high grade DCIS with micro invasion following a routine mammogram. The announcement was made on her podcast Pod Meets World which she co-hosts with two of her former co-stars. She is continuing her hosting duties, but has said she may have to put her work on the podcast on hold as her treatment progresses. Pilot Air Freight has been ordered to pay $400,000 to settle a lawsuit filed by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for violating the Americans with Disabilities Act by firing an employee 10 days after they took a medical leave of absence. HR Dive quoted CAC's 2023 Harris Poll survey in their story which found more than a third (35%) of adults diagnosed with cancer who are employed full/part time feel that, in general, those with cancer face stigma in the workplace. However the study also showed that 74% felt confident about their job security and 73% felt that their employer had their best interest in mind.
