Highlighting accelerating pathways into #STEAM! 💡 🔎 🚀 State Superintendent Tony Thurmond today met with faculty at the College of Alameda who are responsible for the STEAM Discovery/Summer Bridge program, as well as students in the STEAM Pathways Acceleration Program. During the visit, Thurmond discussed the importance of STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) education for at-promise students, the role of hands-on learning experiences in enhancing academic performance and career readiness, and shared strategies for engaging students in STEAM fields and providing real-world applications.
