Today, we partnered with City of Buffalo, New York, Buffalo Public Schools, Buffalo Police Department, and the District Parent Coordinating Council to announce the launch of the Buffalo School Bus Safety Program and kick off our awareness campaign. The program includes an extensive grace period. Starting July 1st, motorists who fail to stop for school buses will receive a warning letter by mail. "Our vision is that every child getting on and off a school bus is able to do that safely and get home to their parents. Our goal is not ticketing. Our goal is to change behavior." - Mayor Byron W. BusPatrol team member Jennifer, from our Processing team in New York, used her paid volunteer day to assist at two Long Island organizations: The Sweet Briar Nature Center in Smithtown and The Evelyn Alexander Wildlife Rescue Center in Hampton Bays. Jennifer dedicated her time to rescuing and caring for various local animals in critical condition. At BusPatrol, service and giving back to our communities are fundamental values. We provide our full-time employees with two paid volunteer days annually to ensure they have opportunities to give back and make a positive difference. #BusPatrolCommunityImpact #BusPatrolVolunteers
