Check out the latest updates on activities from U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM) and the Chief Diversity Officers Executive Council on its 2nd anniversary.
Yesterday, OPM hosted the Chief Diversity Officers Executive Council (CDOEC) quarterly meeting in the White House to celebrate the second anniversary of the CDOEC. Neera Tanden, Director of the Domestic Policy Council, and OPM Acting Director and Council Chair, Rob Shriver, provided remarks. Both focused on the vital work Chief Diversity Officers are doing to advance DEIA across the federal government and model effective policies in support of the workforce. OPM presented our new Workplace Rights Federal Toolkit and highlighted our early career talent recruitment outreach initiative, Level Up to Public Service. Thank you to ODEIA Acting Director Tanya Sehgal and the entire OPM Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility team for making this event possible. We applaud our federal Chief Diversity Officers who are working tirelessly to create more inclusive and equitable work environments where all agency employees feel valued and supported.
