With less than 100 days until the UN Biodiversity #COP16, we’ve published a business statement outlining five high-level policy recommendations for governments to accelerate the implementation of the #BiodiversityPlan to drive corporate #Nature action. Businesses are urging governments to adopt an enabling framework to ensure sustainable resource management. 🌱 Through five high-level policy recommendations and 20 detailed asks, we’re calling for renewed policy ambition to implement the #BiodiversityPlan. One of the recommendations calls on governments to require businesses to transform their production and consumption models, helping reduce negative environmental impacts. How can governments accelerate the adoption of decisive actions for nature? 🌱 This article from Um Só Planeta highlights our recent business statement, endorsed by more than 130 businesses with combined revenues of US$ 1.1 trillion, urging governments to take urgent measures in favor of the environment.
