Inspired by the theme, Black Rock City’s Man Pavilion serves as the foundation upon which the Man will rise. “The Other,” designed by Jen Lewin, nests curious chambers beneath its tentacles. Let's take a moment to appreciate the visionaries who have come together to create a unique experience for the burners gathering on the playa this year. These artists have remarkable stories that fueled their creativity and determination—some were at breaking points in their life journeys, while others were driven by curiosity to explore new ways to connect with their inner mysticism. Burning Man inspires people to explore and create art. The ripples of impact often extend well beyond artists’ creative endeavors. Many Burners who become artists are now teachers and leaders who install their awe-inspiring work well beyond Burning Man’s ephemeral events and cities, in permanent communities around the world. Burning Man Project is working to accomplish three goals by 2030: to Handle Waste Ecologically, Be Regenerative, and Be Carbon Negative. Join us on July 19 to learn about our collective progress.
