Our Intervale neighbors at Sleep Well Recycling visited McNeil this week. They saw firsthand how the wood pieces from the mattresses they divert from the landfill are converted into energy for #BTV. You can hear all about this local company on the current #NetZeroEnergy podcast episode. https://lnkd.in/eWPR5i4g #btv #publicpower

We had the best time talking with Josh Costa about Sleep Well Recycling for our latest podcast episode. While working at 1-800-Got-Junk, Josh saw tons of mattresses sent to the landfill and was inspired to start Sleep Well Recycling. Josh’s new business takes apart retired mattresses so they can recycle the component materials and divert 75%-100% of them away from the landfill and over to a recycling center or to McNeil Generating Station. https://lnkd.in/dnFgxKhi
