Moderated by Sharon Willis, VP Sales and Customer Relations, Integral Molecular, speakers Maurie Smith, David Zuzga, Adrian Adams, Maya Heiland, Alana O'Reilly, and Kara Spiller, Ph.D. shared valuable insights on how the region is preparing the next generation of skilled professionals to keep Philly at the forefront of innovation. The afternoon continued with a deep dive into the State of the Philadelphia Life Sciences Market, moderated by Nelson Way of the Navy Yard. We were moved by the Patient Perspective Keynote, where Michael A. Riotto and Richard Armstrong, Myeloma Coaches with HealthTree Foundation Foundation, shared how the HealthTree Cure Hub is transforming lives by connecting patients and researchers in the fight against blood cancer. Their work is not only extending lives—it’s driving the search for a cure. Next, the Startup Spotlights panel showcased the leaders behind Philadelphia’s top accelerators and incubators. Moderated by Louis Kassa, CEO of the Pennsylvania Biotechnology Center, the discussion highlighted the strategies powering the city’s rapid growth in life sciences.
