Buffalo Spree magazine is your guide to living, dining, culture, and entertainment in Western New York.
About us
Every community needs a city/regional magazine. It gives people the information they need to make the most of where they live. Buffalo Spree magazine, now in its sixth decade of publishing, is Western New York’s only city and regional magazine. Spree is dedicated to helping its readers take advantage of the new Western New York, a community that has seen so many positive and exciting changes over the last few years. The most common compliment Buffalo Spree receives is that, more than any other publication in Western New York, it showcases Buffalo as an exciting and desirable place to live, rich in great neighborhoods, distinguished architecture, unique entertainment destinations, and natural beauty. With every issue, Buffalo Spree provides full-color proof that Western New York is a great region with an impressive quality of life. https://linktr.ee/buffalo_spree

Buying and eating local food is better for your health and for the health of our community, but it’s not always as easy as a quick run to your nearest grocery store. Right now it’s easier than ever, as Western New York is at the height of our harvest season. Farmer’s markets abound with local food options, and it’s a great way to meet the farmers and producers and ask them how you can shop locally in the off-season. Eat Local WNY offers a number of resources on their website to help you track down local food. It also offers a local food pledge, created to help encourage WNYers to increase their consumption of local food by just 10% this year. To learn more about local food availability, access and benefits, to hear more stories from the local food community, or to take the Eat Local WNY Food Pledge, visit eatlocalwny.org.

We are so proud to be a sponsor of the Taste of Buffalo again this year, and really excited to support the Community Table Tent at Niagara Square. Community is what Buffalo Spree is all about: supporting, promoting, and lifting up our neighbors here in WNY. When you're at the Taste this weekend, stop by the Community Table Tent, presented by @GordonFoodServiceStore , and sit down and relax. Enjoy your meal and strike up a conversation with your neighbors. You might just make a new friend. Hosted by the @InternationalInstituteofBuffalo . Learn about all the wonderful work they’re doing in our city. If you want to plan your day(s) at the Taste, check out the Festival Guide for all the deets, including information on the cool NEW Rockstar Kitchen Pop Ups which showcase many of our past and current Best of WNY award-winners! https://lnkd.in/ekWNcsK3
