We are thrilled to announce our support of the Proctors Collaborative Ambassador Program alongside Whiteman Osterman & Hanna LLP. The Ambassador Program has significantly impacted the communities in which we live and work for over 15 years. Ambassadors provide patrons with safe street crossing, parking and dining suggestions, and a warm welcome to the theater. Participants in the program have a renewed sense of confidence and have gone on to full-time employment as well. After 46 years dedicated to serving others, we congratulate John Gross on his retirement. John joined BST in May of 2008, bringing a diverse background in corporate tax, multi-state tax planning, tax representation, mergers and acquisitions consulting, and more industry knowledge. He was an expert witness for various taxation and litigation matters and worked with the IRS to resolve tax controversies. Throughout his tenure, John's guiding principles have been a beacon of inspiration; to make a difference in every interaction and to be respectful of others. Integrity has also been a cornerstone of John's professional ethos. His direct yet fair approach, always prioritizing honesty and accountability, has set a high standard for us all. As he departs BST, he leaves us with some invaluable lessons: "My overarching goal has been to make a difference. The keys I used to make a difference were to listen, to empower others through praise and encouragement, and to try to set a good example."
