About us
BSides Knoxville is an annual cybersecurity conference that occurs in May each year. As part of the larger Security BSides group of conferences, it is modeled as an inexpensive community-first event open to newcomers and industry veterans alike. As East Tennessee’s only security conference, BSides Knoxville is a highly anticipated event that the local community values and looks forward to every year. BSides Knoxville’s parent organization is 10-Sec, Inc, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that also backs or partners with local OWASP, DEFCON, ISSA, and ISC2 groups. We think this quote from one of our attendees sums up the experience nicely. “The speaker quality of B-Sides is amazing, and much higher than I would expect for the region. Also, the talks (Especially the keynotes) challenge assumptions and sacred cows in a way that I deeply appreciate.
