We're now accepting applications for the second annual Andy Miller Georgia Tech Scholarship! The $5,000 scholarship was created in honor of current BRPH employee, Andy Miller, vice president, chief engineer, principal, and Georgia Tech alumnus who celebrated his 40th anniversary with the firm in 2022. Miller is the longest-running employee of the company which was founded in 1964, and the backbone of the firm’s vast portfolio of aerospace and defense projects. The scholarship is awarded annually to an engineering student at Georgia Tech who is pursuing a degree in civil engineering with a specialization in structural engineering. BEYOND INSPIRED! The Interior Design team recently returned from NeoCon, the world’s premier commercial design showcase in Chicago. The lines between work and play are more blurred than ever, with more and more hospitality elements woven into the fabric of commercial spaces. Bold color, engaging textures and artisan crafts are exploding into the workplace. Historic and traditional elements are finding common ground with fresh, modern approaches and creating unexpected but delightful harmonies. Wellness and work/life balance are not just spoken concepts but are infused into design. A surface is not just a surface but an artistic element. Fashion has always inspired furnishings but now the tables have turned and interiors are leading the way. Sending a big BRPH shout-out to interior designer Najett Beltaifa, as she begins her term as president of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Florida Central Chapter this month! Najett’s talent and leadership are an asset to her team members, our clients and her profession. Committed to furthering the interiors industry and fostering the next generation of designers, Najett chose to take on the role of chapter president after serving three years on the board. “I have been fortunate to contribute to the chapter's growth and watch it further blossom into the welcoming, creative community it is. Congratulations to our partners at Boom Supersonic on the ribbon-cutting today to mark the completion of construction on their Overture Superfactory in Greensboro, North Carolina!   Boom is the first new U.S. aircraft manufacturer since Douglas Aircraft was founded in 1921 and is the first private company in the world to manufacture supersonic jets.
