At this moment, 17 wonderful women artists are brightening Brick’s studios with their talent, dedication and general presence, in an industry that otherwise is still dominated by the guys. The Brick Academy has recently completed it’s latest, comprehensive 4 week “Image Generalist in Arch-viz” course, with seven students making the leap to a new level of possibilities in their careers. With one participant gaining an offer of employment with Brick, eventually leading to a 3D artist position at our studio in Verona, we can clearly state that the month-long exploration into a higher standard of image making, was a successful venture for all parties! Some of our top artists at Brick have once again taken on the D2 Challenge, this time titled “Old Gods”, to prove that they’re very much able to emulate some serious creative magic after working hours as well! In the center of the South Korean peninsula, the design of the Daejeon Music Hall and Museum is taking shape, through the works of KENGO KUMA & ASSOCIATES. The two cultural buildings are surrounded by the beauty of the unique Daejeon Arts Park, inspired in its landscape design by the characteristics of Korean nature. Last weekend the Brick team from the Budapest HQ packed the picnic basket, and ventured out of the city to a secluded spot on the shores of the Danube river. A scorching hot summer day was the setting for refreshing drinks, games and good food, topped off by our returning oil-painting session, in the shades by the water.
