Brand Action

Brand Action’s mission is to bring the trademark community together to support people in times of crisis. And this was on full display at our recent fundraising event in Atlanta! With your help, we raised enough money to supply over 17,000 meals for Haiti through World Central Kitchen and TWO fully equipped ambulances for Ukraine through our collaboration with BEforUkraine. We were honored to have Alexandre de Lespinasse and Leyla Harper-Dominique speak about Haiti, sharing their experiences and highlighting the need for support. A tremendous thank you to our FIFTY-SEVEN incredible sponsors (see comments for the full list) and to World Trademark Review and Managing IP for your generous media coverage. To the many individuals that volunteered, and to our amazing Brand Action Ambassadors, Myrtha Hurtado Rivas, Rachel Cockburn Buhl, Susana Fernández Martín, Meriem Loudiyi, Daniel Zohny and Courtney Laginess who helped to spread the word leading up to the event and encouraged so many new people and firms to get involved - we truly could not have pulled it off without you! A big thank you to Oleksandra (Aleksandra) Syniakovska, Matias Noetinger, Brigitte Spiegeler and the National Association of Patent Attorneys of Ukraine for their generous donations, as well as the other organizations that donated items for the raffle and the silent auction.  These items brought in an additional $6000 for our two charities and we are incredibly grateful for your generosity. Finally, to the more than 300 people that joined us at the May 20th event - we were thrilled to spend a few hours with you raising funds for two very worthwhile causes while having a bit of fun! We are humbled by, grateful for, and proud of this community. Together we really can make a difference! Hopital Albert Schweitzer Haiti (HAS), the organization working with World Central Kitchen to deliver food relief in Haiti is being recognized for their incredible work in the country with a chance to win a Charity Navigator #CommunityChoiceAward. Even the small efforts can make a difference! Last month, Brand Action was honored to have a booth provided by ECTA (official) during the association's 42nd Annual Meeting in Antwerp, Belgium. Just by purchasing a bracelet, a luggage tag or lanyard, you helped us to raise over $2000 to donate to World Central Kitchen and BEforUkraine to provide much needed food relief and medical supplies to people in times of crisis. Thank you ECTA (official) and to all the people that stopped by the booth to support our efforts.
