Your dedication to serving and protecting our country inspires us, and we deeply appreciate your sacrifices. November is also Military Family Appreciation Month, a time to recognize the resilience of military families and the unique challenges they face. ABGC is committed to supporting military children and families in our community, providing resources and support to those who experience unique challenges while living outside military installations. Meet Grace, our inspiring Seed-to-Table Coordinator! 🌟 One of her favorite Club memories is cooking outside, where she loves being able to provide our youth with the full-circle experience of eating what we grow. Grace’s passion for sustainable agriculture and the environment shines through in everything she does. She believes it's important for kids to connect with the world around them by playing in the mud and learning where their food comes from. 🌍 She emphasizes that the most important lesson our youth learn is understanding how much the natural world provides and recognizing our deep connection to it. Our youth and teens had a wonderful Halloween celebration yesterday! 🎃👻🕸️ They began their festivities with a Trick or Treat 🍫🍭parade through the Club and Italo's Garden. The costume contest 🧙♀️👽🦄winners were announced and the rest of the day was filled with creative and fun activities including Halloween bingo and coloring, spooky mask making, relay racing, Minecraft Education Halloween build challenge, making persimmon pie and watching a favorite Halloween movie!
