✨EMPLOYEE SPOTLIGHT✨ Billie Shieldnight started with Bowers Trucking & Logistics in 2022 as a Driver Manager. Now, in 2024, she has moved up and works on the brokerage team as a Capacity Manager, and she says she is excited about her new adventure! Her favorite part of working with Bowers is the close-knit staff! Before joining the team at Bowers, Billie had a background in healthcare before becoming familiar with the trucking world when she worked at Burbank Materials as a 40-ton rock haul driver and a scale house administrative assistant. Billie moved to Ponca City with her 3 children, KyLee (20), Kenzie (17), and Kannin (13), in 2021 after growing up in Osage County. Outside of work, Billie enjoys gardening her vegetable and flower gardens. She also loves going to the lake with her family and enjoying live music at concerts! Our January - Road Dog Of The Month - is our driver, Chris Burnett! 💪🏼 Chris comes to Bowers from Antlers, OK, and drove a total of 12,192 miles for us in January! Last month, Chris said he loved visiting Louisianna because ""anytime I can get through Louisianna is a good time."" When on the road, Chris likes to make his own meals instead of eating out or at Truck Stops! His favorite thing to do when waiting for his next load is planning meals or editing and planning his videos for his YouTube channel, which you can browse here: https://lnkd.in/grWBQATa When on the road, Chris's favorite snack is coffee and more coffee!
