The Idaho Transportation Department has selected BoreDM to replace gINT as its geotechnical database management system. With several projects already logged, ITD is well on its way to achieving the department's longtime goal of building a centralized subsurface database. We also look forward to helping ITD extract value from historical data by migrating gINT logs and extracting quality data from older PDFs. We are so excited to continue #ConnectingTheDOTs and working with the ITD team. Find us at www.boredmlogs.com to join government agencies, consultants, construction firms, and other engineers making the switch to BoreDM today.

Learn how the Washington State Department of Transportation is working with BoreDM to efficiently log borings from the field during a multi-year transition away from gINT. WSDOT’s engineering team has built a robust library for boring logs and related geotechnical and geological reports on an enterprise gINT database. While some firms and DOTs are ready to transition to a modern gINT alternative today, others like WSDOT require a longer transition period to migrate to a new system without disrupting existing workflows. BoreDM is partnering with WSDOT to smooth that transition by providing engineers with a custom export to WSDOT’s unique gINT data structure. Projects which are logged in BoreDM’s mobile app, BoreDM Field, can be live-synced from the field, downloaded, and seamlessly imported into gINT. This enables WSDOT to continue utilizing legacy workflows while leveraging modern tools with BoreDM. BoreDM is committed to supporting engineering teams in the private sector and at government agencies, even through multi-year transition periods. Visit us at www.boredmlogs.com (or email [email protected]) to learn more about migrating your firm from gINT to a modern geotechnical data management platform.
