Join us in congratulating Brian Lambert (Hines) for earning his RPA designation! 🎓 Brian is the General Manager at 321 N. Clark and chose to pursue the RPA to learn the essential skills to advance his career. His favorite course was Law and Risk Management because of the instructor's inspiring stories and the unique opportunity to host the class at his building. He adds, "If I could go back in time, I would take more of the courses in person with the instructors because they add so much value to the experience. Understanding the necessary skills to manage all aspects of a property is essential for growing in Property Management - and the RPA gave me just that!"

The voice of Chicago's office building industry since 1902
About us
BOMA/Chicago is a trade association that has represented the Chicago office building industry since 1902. Membership includes 245 commercial offices, institutional and public buildings, and 200 companies that provide commercial building services to support operational excellence. BOMA/Chicago members constitute approximately 80 percent of all rentable office space and more than 98 percent of rentable space in Class A buildings downtown. BOMA/Chicago has played a vital role in advocating on behalf of our members for over a century and continues to be a leader in drafting new building codes, advancing fire and life safety measures, negotiating mutually beneficial labor agreements, and enhancing energy efficiency and sustainability practices. We provide valuable resources that help our members advance Chicago's commercial real estate industry each and every day through continuing education and strategic partnerships that equip our members with the tools and information necessary to confront the challenges and opportunities of our ever-changing industry. Our members also play a vital role in ensuring the economic viability of downtown Chicago. Chicago area office buildings support over 64,000 jobs, and member buildings house more than 647,000 tenant employees and over 18,000 local, national, and international companies. By advocating on behalf of the owners and managers of these buildings, BOMA/Chicago also supports the businesses housed in them--businesses that require quality office space and service. BOMA/Chicago buildings support local schools and public services through more than $1 billion in annual property taxes.

Congratulations to Reginald L. Ollie, who was awarded a BOMA International Lifetime membership to honor his leadership and diversity efforts at BOMA/Chicago. Director Micah Larmie accepted the award this morning on Reggie's behalf. Reggie championed the creation of the BOMA/Chicago Diversity Committee in 1995 and made it his mission to diversify the commercial real estate industry and to give minority professionals a support network. Ollie continues his work in the DEI space as Principal of The Ollie Group, a company that provides DEI consulting services. Thank you and congrats, Reggie!
