Tune into Black With No Chaser Live for "Restoring Voices: A Dialogue on Rights and Redemption with Richard Bradley." In this live, we're digging into a conversation about rights restoration and redemption. We're proud to collaborate with One Voice Mississippi, an organization dedicated to ensuring an equal voice for traditionally silenced communities. Together, we're embarking on a journey to empower citizens and foster positive change in our neighborhoods, schools, economy, and families. Throughout this conversation, we'll explore critical questions such as: - What rights are lost by citizens during and after incarceration? - How can a partnership between One Voice and M-BAR be a pillar of change for Jackson? - And what steps can we take to help formerly incarcerated individuals regain their rights and actively participate in shaping our future? With engaging discussions and insights from community leaders, business owners, and returning citizens, "Restoring Voices" aims to ignite meaningful dialogue and inspire action toward a more just and inclusive Jackson. Join us as we amplify the voices of change and work towards restoring rights and restoring votes for all. Together, we can build a better Jackson and a better Mississippi. --- Be sure to log on to Mississippi Black Pages; a roadmap to your new favorite place. Remembering Hydeia Broadbent: Her voice, courage, and unwavering spirit transformed the fight against HIV/AIDS. She taught us to live with purpose, advocate with passion, and love without limits. Her legacy is a testament to the power of resilience and the impact one person can make. With Beyoncé’s recent exploration of country themes in ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ and ‘16 Carriages’, we’re reminded of the powerful yet underrepresented contributions of Black women to country music. This Black History Month, we spotlight the incredible talents and stories of Beyoncé, Chapel Hart, K. Michelle, Mickey Guyton, Elsie, Amira Unplugged, Tanner Addell, and The Boykinz. Each artist embodies resilience and creativity, bringing diverse narratives to a genre where Black women’s voices have historically been scarce. Our goal is to amplify their achievements, celebrate their artistry, and pave the way for a more inclusive future in country music. But the conversation doesn’t end here. We invite you to share other Black female artists in country music who inspire you. Let’s broaden our horizons together and continue to uplift these important voices in the genre. #blackwithnochaser #beyonce #country #blackwomenincountry #texasholdem #16carriages #blackhistorymonth #blackgirlmagic
