All smiles at July’s Business After Five, hosted at the BEAUTIFUL Rotary Botanical Gardens! BA5 is an amazing networking opportunity for locals in the Janesville area to meet and connect with other members and guests to form new business contacts and relationships. In attendance was BHCCU’s Marketing Team, made up of our Director of Marketing- CeeCee Handrow, Digital Marketing and Communications Specialist- Kayley Hackett, and Marketing Intern- Abby Trapp. They were joined by our Learning and Development Specialist- Felicia Astin and Milwaukee Street’s Branch Manager- Jennie McGuire. This month’s BA5 was incredibly special, for we were able to witness Shar Hermanson being introduced as Forward Janesville’s newest President and CEO! Excited for her and the Forward Janesville team! What a great night of talk, laughter, and meeting new faces! 💙 #WeLoveOurCommunity

Happy #MovingOnUpMonday! Once again, we’re honoring and appreciating the hard work of one of our employees who has moved up within the organization. Today, we are showcasing Mike Angileri, who has started in a new role within the credit union as Member Advisor in our Contact Center. 👏 Mike joined the BHCCU team in 2023. Since then, he’s had the opportunity to hone his skills in financial empowerment and member services as a teller at Janesville’s Milwaukee Street branch all while forming meaningful relationships with his helpful and friendly coworkers. In his new role as Member Advisor, Mike is looking forward to learning more about different departments within the credit union and using his skillset to better assist our members and his teammates. When he’s not at work, you will find Mike spending time with family, producing his podcasts, and playing bass in a band! When asked about this next step with BHCCU, Mike says, “I’m truly excited to start this new chapter and see where it will lead in the future!” 🎉 Congratulations, Mike, we’re excited, too!

This year's event will honor three local leaders who have made a difference in Rock County: Greg Hughes, and Tom & Amanda Fong. 📅 It’s not just another Monday, it’s a #MovingonupMonday! Celebrate with us as we highlight the hard work of our team members, where they started, and where they are now. Today, we are featuring Member Advisor David Bishop, who has accepted a new role within the credit union as Lead Member Advisor at our Edgerton branch. David became part of the BHCCU team in 2021, starting as a teller and quickly transitioning to lead teller. About a year later, he moved up again into a new position as member advisor, and has been helping our members reach their financial goals ever since. In his time with BHCCU, David says he has most enjoyed the people that he has met and formed relationships with—both coworkers and members alike. In his new position as Lead Member Advisor, David is looking forward to bringing his passion for helping members back out to the frontline, while still being able to provide more in-depth member services during his office hours. Outside of work, David is passionate about building wonderful things—whether that’s with his hands through Lego or woodworking, or his imagination, building whole worlds playing D&D with friends. We can't wait to see what you build next in this new position, David. Congratulations!
