February is #BlackHistoryMonth, and JCPenney is honoring Black pride, beauty and brilliance through our third-annual #HopeAndWonder Collection benefitting Black Girls Smile Inc. The collection was created and curated in-house by JCPenney’s Creative Coalition, a cross-functional team of passionate #BIPOC designers who bring their distinctive voices to creating each Hope & Wonder collection.   Net profits of the 2024 Hope & Wonder Black History Month Collection benefit Black Girls Smile, a nonprofit organization that empowers the mental health of Black women and girls through education, resources and support. JCPenney began its partnership with Black Girls Smile in 2022 and is proud to support the organization for the third year in a row.   You can read more about the collection on the JCPenney Newsroom: https://lnkd.in/gmjmU4TR

Giving Season is the time of year that we express our gratitude. We show gratitude for our family, friends and to those who have helped us along the way.   Black Girls Smile is grateful that we can be one of the few nonprofit organizations that address the unique mental health needs of young Black women, girls and nonbinary folks. We're also grateful for the 10,000 community that we have cultivated over the past decade of being in existence. It is through this community that we've met you: the amazing donors, volunteers, and partners who are also dedicated to ensuring that Black girls, women, and nonbinary youth are able to live mentally healthy lives.   As an expression of our gratitude for your support, we would like to invite you to our upcoming end-of-year events in New York City (12/4) and Atlanta (12/9). If you're interested in attending, please message us. This is a great event for those who have been following our journey and are looking to deepen their support of Black girls, women and caregivers' ability to live mentally healthy lives.
