Looking for an EMT or paramedic role in a more relaxed environment with a flexible schedule? Tim, a Medical Support Specialist at BioLife, highlights what it’s like being on our team: “Most paramedic jobs involve direct patient care in a fast-paced environment. In contrast, the Medical Support Specialist role at BioLife focuses on reaction management, first aid, and medical response as needed, along with physical assessments and evaluating potential donor eligibility based on BioLife's medical guidance.” We’re grateful for Tim’s expertise and commitment to ensuring every donor's safety and well-being. This year, we're thrilled to mark #NationalComingOutDay with a special shout out to our incredible LGBTQIA community and a reflection on our journey toward greater inclusivity. In May 2023, the FDA introduced new guidance for blood and plasma donation, focusing on individual assessment rather than blanket restrictions based on gender or sexual orientation. We updated our processes accordingly, embracing a more inclusive approach to donor screening. This Pride Month 2024, we proudly took part in our first major Pride event. Our booth was a vibrant hub of curiosity and excitement, with over 240 email sign-ups from potential new donors in just 5 hours. Join a team that embraces diversity and fosters an inclusive environment for all. Learn more: jobs.biolifeplasma.com #BioLifeBenefits #Diversity #BioLifePride #StrongerTogether #LGBTQIA

We're grateful for every one of our plasma donors who are helping to make a difference in people's lives.
Medicines made from plasma are used to treat people with serious health conditions such as primary immune deficiency and hemophilia. Depending on the condition, it may require between 130 to 1,200 plasma donations to treat one person who receives medicine made from plasma for one year.
