The opening session at the 2024 Alabama Brownfields Conference has kicked off! We walked in this morning to find Ashley Morris of Waypoint Analytical - Environmental Services had swept our booth! He's a big fan of our swag and we're a big fan of Waypoint's analytical expertise. Good morning Alabama! Tomorrow, Bhate is sponsoring the 2024 Alabama Brownfields Conference at the Civic Center in Pelham, AL! This year's proceedings are sponsored by the Alabama Brownfields Associaton and presented by Beacon Programs. Our Regulatory Director, Louis Montgomery, will be speaking at 3:30PM in the exhibit hall. Louis has curated a 30 minute presentation on reviving voluntary cleanup program sites, and we hope you can join us to hear his expertise. PCI-Bhate JV, LLC is celebrating award of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center's McConnell Air Force Base Optimized Remediation Contract (ORC)! This 10-year contract will provide environmental investigation and remediation services for 28 Installation Restoration Program (IRP) sites, both on and off-base via this performance-based acquisition. Tasks include supplemental site investigations and updates to conceptual site models, community involvement, vapor intrusion investigations, remedial actions, long-term management, advanced site characterization and system demolition, plus optimization of remedies and monitoring. Congratulations to the entire team, including trusted subcontractors Geosyntec Consultants & Burns & McDonnell, plus every contributor behind PCI-Bhate JV’s winning proposal! Together, we focus on delivering results to the Department of Defense. 

Our new office suite is open in Denver, and we had a fantastic turn out for our Open House last night on Union Blvd! Our environmental team here in Colorado is one to be proud of. We spent valued time in strategic meetings, in addition to spending quality time with our newest hires and oldest friends, including AtkinsRéalis, Geosyntec Consultants Broadbent & Associates, Inc. and of course our protégé PCI Government Services LLC to name but a few!
