    🌈 WELCOMING OUT: Creating Safer Spaces to #BeYou! 🌈 For the third consecutive year, we celebrated the annual ‘Coming Out Day’ with a (WEL-)COMING OUT Event at our headquarters in Hamburg together with our partner WELCOMING OUT. The organization supports the LGBTIQ community by creating safer spaces where people can come out without fear. It encourages allyship and promotes visibility, acceptance, and inclusion. We are incredibly proud to have hosted this important event, emphasizing our commitment to championing a more inclusive society where everyone feels welcome to be themselves.     Today is #InternationalDayoftheGirlChild! 🌍👧 To celebrate - and to spotlight the challenges girls continue to face - we took a step forward in our ‘Empowering Girls’ program, which has already reached more than 400,000 people since 2020.  We welcomed girls and young women to our headquarters in Hamburg and to other offices across ten countries, offering them hands-on mentorship, dynamic workshops, and a glimpse into career paths at Beiersdorf. In Hamburg, they took part in an "Ask Me Anything" session with our CHRO Nicola Lafrentz and met with our CEO Vincent Warnery. Globally, they connected with leaders like our Head of Marketing Andean, Mariella Infante Villar, and our NIVEA President in Brazil, Ana Bógus, who shared their journeys and insights. But this is just the beginning. Together with our local and global partners such as CARE Deutschland e.V. and Plan International, we are empowering the next generation with the confidence and skills to lead, innovate, and shape a brighter future.     There is zero alternative to net zero! 🌍     This powerful statement from our CEO Vincent Warnery was just one of the highlights at the first day of Hamburg Sustainability Conference, where industry leaders and policymakers gather to discuss key topics in #sustainability.     The conference opened with an address by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, who called for urgent collective action to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. His words set the tone for two days of high-impact discussions, where global leaders are exploring bold solutions to the planet’s most pressing challenges.    Today, after an inspiring opening keynote from Jennifer Morgan, Vincent Warnery highlighted the crucial role of industry in driving a sustainable future during an interview with Sabine Nallinger, Managing Director of Stiftung KlimaWirtschaft. He explained how Beiersdorf approaches sustainability with a 360-degree effort. With ambitious targets to reach net zero by 2045, Beiersdorf aims to lead by example in driving #ClimateAction: “If the entire world would act like us, we would be on a 1.4-degree pathway*”.      Our ambitious sustainability efforts include:  🚫 Eliminating virgin plastic from our packaging by 2032.  ♻️ 100% of packaging will be designed for recycling by 2032.   🌳 Having certified deforestation free materials for our main ingredients.  📉 Achieving climate neutrality in production by 2030.     More than 100 years ago, we created the skin care market.
