Want to learn more about Beast Core’s Document Viewer? 💡 Most of our demos are centered around using a 3D representation to interact with a platform and access data. However, some organizations don’t have 3D models and their workforce has used 2D drawings to locate information and solve problems their entire career. 📄 Beast Core’s Document Viewer allows users to access an entire library of drawings, manuals, and procedures through their browser. Our data migration process scans each document to identify linkages to components in Beast Core’s product model and the associated metadata. This creates hyperlinks where users can select references in the document (such as a part number or equipment name) to: ℹ️ Access information associated with the component through the Info Panel, like serial numbers and operating parameters. ↔️ Cross-reference other documents with the same reference. 🔍 Zoom to the component’s physical location in the 3D model. Likewise, when 3D representations are available, users can select components in the model to access a list of associated documents. Discover the transformative power of Beast Core’s Learning Viewer! 💡 Learning Viewer harnesses the data stored in 3D product models as a foundation to create interactive learning experiences. 📚 Think of a traditional pre-flight checklist where the pilot reviews gauges, closes valves, and performs a visual inspection. Using the 3D model as a guide, a complex list of tasks is easy enough anyone could follow step-by-step. This concept can be applied to any type of process, the development of interactive curriculum, and even capturing tribal knowledge across your workforce. 🔧 Learning Viewer presents students with different types of information formatted as plain text, videos, graphics, and/or animations. Using “Smart References”, specific pages and paragraphs within a document can be displayed. For example, the learning experience can reference each step in a procedure, specific operating parameters in a manual, or a piece of equipment represented in a diagram. 📊 Each learning experience is equipped with an acronym library (LVAL lol). When these acronyms are used, Learning Viewer converts the text into a hyperlink, allowing students to hover over and understand the full meaning. 🔍 The Course Map feature provides students with a visual map of each step in the experience, illustrates their progress, and allows them to jump backwards/forwards.
