Living with or caring for someone struggling with addiction can be incredibly challenging. Often, the person affected is in denial about their problem, making it difficult to admit they need help. While promises of change may be made, detox alone is not enough. Addiction is a chronic disease that requires comprehensive treatment because it often stems from underlying mental health issues. This is why treating both addiction and mental health issues concurrently is critical for successful recovery. At Beacon Behavioral, we offer Intensive Outpatient Programs and Inpatient Hospital services designed specifically for these needs. Visit beaconbh.com to learn more and get the professional help you or your loved one needs. #BeaconBehavioral #ForYouForThem #ThereIsHelp #AGuidingLight #ALightInTheStorm

To all caregivers out there, we see you and understand the challenges you face. Here are some stress management tips we urge you to follow: - Accept Help: Prepare a list of things that would be helpful for others to do, such as picking up groceries or taking out the trash. - Stay Connected: Set aside time each week for socializing, even if it’s just a walk with a friend. - Stay Healthy: Find time to be physically active. Prioritize a good night’s sleep and maintain a healthy diet. - Prioritize Your Health: Get recommended immunizations and screenings. Inform your doctor that you’re a caregiver and mention any concerns or symptoms you have. Remember, you will be a more effective caregiver when you care for yourself first. If you have questions, we’re here to help. Visit beaconbh.com for more information. #BeaconBehavioral #ForYouForThem #ThereIsHelp #AGuidingLight #ALightInTheStorm
