We have a new team member! Our newest Analyst, Ally Bell, wrote a little something to introduce herself to the Baukunst community. Here's a bit about her journey and what she's looking forward to: "Hi everyone! I’m Ally, and I'm joining Baukunst this week as an analyst. Coming from a background in engineering and startups, I am thrilled to be stepping into this space with all of you. I studied Systems Engineering at Olin College, with a focus on sustainability and user centered design. I’ve been very lucky to work over the past few years with the teams at Bedrock Energy, building commercial scale geothermal, and at Spaero Bio, developing a different kind of liquid handling automation software, and my own project, building data management and regulatory reporting software for shellfish farms. My time with startups demonstrated to me how critical capital is in early stages of building, and pushed me to dive into the financial mechanisms that support entrepreneurs. I am drawn to venture as a mechanism to enable innovation that the world desperately needs. There is so much to build, from decarbonization to consumer health—I am excited to help enable clarity and respect in this piece of the process for founders in accelerating their pursuits. The energy that founders pour in at the earliest stages demands mutual excitement and conviction from those supporting them. I feel incredibly privileged to be joining the team at Baukunst as they practice this relentlessly. As an analyst, I’m excited to earn your trust and work to serve this community. I aim to use this role to pursue excellence, impact, and community with the incredible founders I get to work with. I look forward to learning from and alongside you, Ally" Let's give Ally a warm welcome to the community! We can't wait to see the impact she'll make here at Baukunst.

Congratulations to Baukunst collective member Krenar Komoni and the Tive Inc team for achieving remarkable growth in their customer base!

This is one of the most exciting metrics I have been following here at Tive Inc...  This graph shows the number of brand new customers/logos that sign up each day and trust Tive to track and monitor their shipments/inventory.  You can see that the trend (average trailing 6-mo // smoothing monthly ups/downs) in Q2 has been up to almost 1.5 new customers per working day (June actual was at 1.75 per day, not averaged!).  Based on all the leading indicators (meetings, calls, demos, pilots) we had in Q2, I am very confident we are going to crush it in Q3 Q4 :) - Thanks to all the Tivers for working tirelessly on this! Thank you to all the current customers who spread Tive through positive word of mouth, and thanks to all of the new customers for trusting Tive to bring ground truth data into their teams so that they can run the best in-class supply chains and logistics... #supplychain #logistics #team

As its name implies, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) encapsulates tools that amplify human creativity with computation. The last radical shift in this industry leveraged novel compute power and GUI paradigms to transform mechanical, electrical, and simulation design in the mid 90s. Today, recent advances in artificial intelligence are primed to further accelerate how we design and build the world around us. At Baukunst, we believe technology and design are the most potent ingredients to build ambitious, enduring businesses. In Contours of CAD AI, we dive deeper into both fields to inspire the collective and inform how we build generation-defining companies.

Imagine being eight months pregnant, pitching your startup as a solo founder. That’s exactly what Laura Modi did. When Laura raised her pre-seed round, her company, Bobbie, was pre-product and pre-revenue. It was just her, a vision, and an unwavering belief in her mission. Laura managed to raise funds by sharing the emotional opportunity of her brand with investor Kate McAndrew. Laura’s authentic storytelling and passion resonated deeply with Kate, leading to the crucial investment that set Bobbie on its path. Today, Bobbie is a profitable company with over $100 million in revenue. This incredible journey from a solo founder pitching while heavily pregnant to running a thriving business highlights the importance of finding investors who believe in your story and vision. Laura’s story teaches us that staying authentic and embracing who you are as a woman founder can make all the difference. Don’t be afraid to show your true self and share your journey. The right investors will see the value in your authenticity and align with your mission. Let Laura’s story inspire you to keep pushing forward and stay true to your vision. Believe in yourself, and the right people will believe in you too. _____________________ 👋🏻 Hi there, welcome! ✨ I'm Sarah.
