Meet the Battery Workforce Challenge at Colorado School of Mines Team! 🔋 The team is based in Golden, Colorado, in collaboration with Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado. 🛠️ Their mission is to establish the Colorado School of Mines and Arapahoe Community College as premier automotive engineering institutions and inspire passion in modern energy solutions to create a more prosperous future for all. The team will leverage hands-on experience and the expertise of their partners to educate and diversify the workforce in EV technology. The New Student Orientation at Hinds Community College-Utica Campus was a success! The Battery Workforce Challenge JSU team introduced freshmen, transfer students, and parents to the Battery Workforce Challenge. The booth featured presentations, T-shirts, and an EV simulator, providing hands-on learning. 🚗🔋 Thanks to Carrie Kirkland for her invaluable support. Empowering Tomorrow’s Female Leaders at Cal State LA! 🚀 Despite strides towards gender equality, women remain underrepresented in STEM. California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) is addressing this through the Battery Workforce Challenge in partnership with Cerritos College. The Batt Challenge CSULA, a mechanical engineering grad student, Isabel Builes, alongside the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), is encouraging more women to join our three-year EV competition.
