It was a pleasure to attend the recent groundbreaking ceremony for the Tennessee Wings of Liberty Museum on the Fort Campbell military base. 🇺🇸 The museum will document and display the heroic stories of the units that call Fort Campbell home – the 101st Airborne Division, 5th Special Forces Group, and the 160th Special Ops Aviation Regiment, with interactive displays and memorabilia dating from the Vietnam War to the present day. Construction is now underway on the project. Fun fact: The shovels used for the ceremony are traditional Army-issue entrenching shovels – a nod to the servicemen and women and Veterans that this military museum will honor. The industry has changed a lot since we opened our doors in 1924. From laser levels to BIM, modern technology has replaced some of the more traditional tools on jobsites these days, making the old tools found at Barton Malow’s Southfield Headquarters novel souvenirs from our 100-year history. Check out some musings on the old tools of the trade and how the industry and Barton Malow have pushed forward in the spirit of continuous improvement: https://lnkd.in/eFAX4Xb7 #BartonMalow100 #BuildingTodayForABetterTomorrow #Since1924

Over the past 100 years, we’ve built a lot of iconic projects — some more recognizable than others. Can you #NameThatProject before the last photo? With glass sourced from Barcelona, Spain and terracotta hailing from Munich, Germany, this distinct building in Ann Arbor, Michigan combines science, research, and community-building spaces. The 312,000 SF space houses classrooms, research labs, and even a natural history museum. #BartonMalow100 #BuildingTodayForABetterTomorrow #Since1924
