Banyan Residential 's second #OpportunityZone development in Dallas, Banyan Flats, is now open and welcoming new residents! This is one of the City's first Public Facility Corporation (PFC) projects, whereby Banyan will offer qualifying residents rent-restricted pricing on 50% of the building, significantly increasing the availability of affordable housing in the West Dallas submarket. Last week, Banyan Residential and our partners at Milhaus closed a $63.3M syndicated construction loan led by UMB Bank to finance the first phase of development at our 48th and Washington site in central Phoenix. We've also broken ground on this 320-unit #OpportunityZone development, with McShane Construction Company leading the charge in the field.
