To close out this summer’s Intern Spotlight series, we recognize Commercial Real Estate Intern Ben Hansen! Ben is a junior at Iowa State University studying finance. He is eager to observe the inner workings of a bank and work closely with his team to grow more knowledgeable about real estate. “I hope to create and maintain relationships within the real estate industry,” Ben says. “I am excited to learn about the structures of loans and projects relating to commercial real estate.” His personal interests include spending his free time at the lake, golfing and watching sports. We’re excited to have you with us this summer, Ben!

Next up in our Intern Spotlight series is Finance Intern Kamryn Postello! Kamryn is a junior studying finance and accounting at Iowa State University. She is looking forward to putting her financial knowledge to the test, as well as picking up on new technical skills that are useful to have in the finance field. “I see this internship as an opportunity to gain valuable experience that will help me grow personally and professionally,” she says. Kamryn likes to spend her free time outdoors, whether that be going on a run, walk, or shopping trip. Welcome to the Bankers Trust family, Kamryn!

Next up in our Intern Spotlight series is BTC Capital Management Intern Madisen Jackson! Madisen is a sophomore studying finance and accounting at the University of Iowa. She is looking forward to learning information and skills that cannot be taught in a classroom. Interning at Bankers Trust is a full circle moment for Madisen. “When I was a kid, I remember going into Bankers Trust branches and knowing that I wanted to be like the workers there,” she says. “That memory is what made me want Bankers Trust to be a part of my career.” When Madisen isn’t studying or working, she enjoys weightlifting and spending time with loved ones.  Welcome aboard, Madisen!

Yesterday, Don Coffin, Bankers Trust CEO and President, and six of our interns competed in the Easterseals Iowa Annual Regatta while several team members cheered from the shore. Congratulations to Don and his long-time racing partner Meghan for taking home the gold in the beloved Admiral’s Race! We look forward to this event and supporting this incredible organization every year.

West Des Moines team members celebrated Make It OK Day Our Ames Branch served as a donation site for the United Way of Story County Food Drive The Go Green Committee helped restore the bottomlands of Strasser Woods in Des Moines Team members attended Count the Kicks Annual Changemakers Luncheon The DEI Committee delivered household items to Catholic Charities in support of their services for refugees
