On #NationalNonprofitDay, we celebrated the commitment of Bank of America to working with organizations doing great work around the world and in the communities we serve. We would not be able to scale the positive impact of these partnerships without the support of our community volunteers and the millions of hours they contribute to causes they care about.
Whether you're just starting your career or are well into it, one of the most valuable things you can do is integrate purpose into your professional life. This approach has been a cornerstone of my journey with Bank of America, allowing me to stay connected to the broader impact we can make together. In honor of #NationalNonprofitDay, I'm thrilled to put a spotlight on some of the nonprofits we have built relationships with, along with a few of our many volunteers who help bring these efforts to life. These partnerships flourish when we fully leverage our talent, resources and networks to support the mission of these organizations. Our team members who volunteer often tell me that they feel they've gained far more than they've given. This sense of fulfillment underscores the true value of purposeful work. We've had the privilege of working with Sbusisiwe Myeni and Imbeleko Academy in South Africa and The Haitian Project, Inc. to help educate secondary school students and to prepare them for life after school, whether their path leads to college or business. Around the world, we support women leaders working on some of the world's most critical issues like education, healthcare and financial independence for women. The women of the Dr. Hawa Abdi Foundation and Onward for Afghan Women-Women are brave and fierce and should be an inspiration to us all.
