LA Fitness is a health and fitness staple spanning more than 700 clubs with over 13,000 employees. Wearers in this Image of the Year award-winning program are categorized into two primary functional work groups: managers, and staff members. HPI worked with its counterparts at LA Fitness to capture the essence of the athleisure look and feel that drove the aesthetic the organization was looking for in a simple yet functional two-garment offering of performance tees and performance polos, with active staff members wearing the tee and the polo being reserved to represent management level staff. The HPI design team and partners at LA Fitness went to great lengths to ensure that their uniform program would be on par with some of the most popular retail offerings in the athleisure space. Through extensive research and curation of popular brands such as Lulu Lemon, Patagonia, and more, HPI designed a fabric that could stand alongside these high-end offerings, elevating what was previously a simple and unenhanced design to perfection.
