Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle is proud to recognize Black Philanthropy Month (BPM). Black Philanthropy Month is celebrated globally every August to elevate African-descent giving and funding equity. Established by Dr. Jackie Bouvier Copeland, BPM launched in 2011 with its first official global summit to commemorate the United Nations Year and Decade of People of African Descent. At the Baltimore Women’s Giving Circle we are working on building a more equitable and inclusive community. We are proud to be part of a community where CLLCTIVGIVE raised $1,123,723 from 2,116 donors in just 24 hours, which will benefit 119 Black-led Greater Baltimore social-change organizations. https://bit.ly/46Qs0NE
