🌟 **Celebrating Juneteenth in Baltimore!** 🌟 Today, we commemorate Juneteenth, a day of freedom, reflection, and community. On June 19, 1865, news of emancipation finally reached Galveston, Texas, marking the end of slavery in the United States. This historic day reminds us of the resilience, strength, and enduring spirit of the African American community. At the Baltimore Development Corporation, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and thriving city for everyone. Join us in celebrating this important day by supporting local Black-owned businesses, attending community events, and educating ourselves about the rich history and culture that makes Baltimore so unique. Let's honor the past and work together towards a future of equity, justice, and opportunity for all. Happy Juneteenth, Baltimore! ✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿 #Juneteenth #FreedomDay #BaltimoreStrong #SupportLocal #EquityAndInclusion #BDCBaltimore
