Are you an organization working with young adults? FAFSA completion is low this year due to challenges in rolling out the updated form. You can use this social media toolkit to encourage young people to fill out the FAFSA. It's especially important to note that 1. It is not too late for students to complete the form and get the money they deserve; 2. Most people who complete the form get some money to help pay for college; 3. More people than ever qualify for financial aid; and 4. The form is simpler, is now working, and takes as little as 10 minutes to fill out. Please share with youth and encourage them to #DoTheFAFSA! https://lnkd.in/gDW2VaMv

Congratulations to our grantee, A Way Home WA! The Seattle Times writes about their success in reducing youth and young adult homelessness by 40%.
🌟 Proud to share that The Seattle Times has featured the remarkable journey of Washington in reducing unaccompanied youth and young adult (YYA) homelessness by 40%! This in-depth article highlights findings from our landscape scan co-authored with the Office of Homeless Youth (OHY), housed in the Washington State Department of Commerce. This milestone is the result of a complex, multi-sector effort involving dozens of organizations and countless individuals over more than a decade. Central to this achievement has been the commitment to centering the voices of young people with lived experiences, which has proven crucial in addressing these systemic issues. Philanthropic partners have been key, partnering with the public sector to fund innovative and effective solutions. However, sustaining this progress and driving further reductions will require continued and increased investment. We encourage you to read the full article to understand the depth of this effort and the collaborative spirit that made it possible. Read more here:
