We're proud to celebrate BakerRipley Neighborhood Tax Centers for increasing completed tax returns by 6% over the past year, saving our Neighbors over $8.4 million in fees! With 36,281 tax returns filed, our 308 dedicated volunteers and community partners were recognized by the IRS as the largest VITA program in the country. After relocating to Houston for better opportunities, U.S. Veteran Lorenzo Davis and his family found a new home with the help of BakerRipley. Initially declined for federal assistance, Mr. Davis received support from case manager Karen Tillman, who guided the family through the process. BakerRipley helped cover their rent from October 2023 to June 2024, leading to their successful move into a home in July 2024. This marks the end of a challenging journey; because of your continuous support, the Davis family has found a new beginning in Houston.
